The Duryea and the Beaver and Eagle Clips.

Here's my all-time favorite accommodation pen and pencil clip. This is the utility patent for it, 799,038. And this is the design patent for it, D37,552. The plain version is often found installed upside down on pen caps, with the long finger-piece down, because some don't understand the proper clasping function of the clip, but the figural hand in the design patent makes it obvious which way is up, and which down. Also see related patent nos. 276,512, the prototype for this type of clip, 883,767, a "Swan" Mabie Todd clip, and 844,061 and 886,095, the famous V.V. clips.

And for those who want to be patriotic, or who belong to the Colbert Nation, here's a slip-on pencil-clip-and-sharpener in the shape of a beaver, patent no. 1,275,982, and two pencil clips in the shape of an eagle, 1,083,835 and D51,564.
