Noodler's Lermontov

Pilot Plumix on Rhodia Dot Pad

Flow: moderate; slightly dry for a Noodler's ink (many are gushers)

Bleed/feather: some on cheap paper

Shading: no

Dry Time: fast, less than 5 seconds in the stub nib (M)

Saturation: medium

Color: middle of the road blue, leaning green (rather than purple like Polar Blue)

Water Resistance: high

Notes: good all around permanent blue ink that leans slightly green

Looks pretty similar to the Legal Lapis in your other review.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Lermontov is actually much more blue than Legal Lapis. LL leans more green than Lermontov, but perhaps not much.

Nice one. It would be great if we see them all together at one point ;)

I just posted a comparison in the ink comparison forum
