Waterman pen id. Gentleman 1 gen?

Hello! Can anyone help me id and evaluate this fountain pen, please?

Writing on the cap: waterman, made in France. Plaque org.

Nib: waterman super 6 18 carats.

I have discovered it at home in a box with different stuff from my father after 50 years.  I presume it has never been used. From what I found on the internet(this forum was most informative), it looks like Waterman 1st gen model, from early 70-s.

I know nothing about fp, so your help would be appreciated.

No idea about your pen model but Waterman logo is around 1970's (before 1980 aprox.) so I agree.

On other hand, the cartridge in your pen is the wrong one, it looks like a Parker one. The pen should fit early and discontinued CF cartridges and Converters. Photos attached. Good luck searching !

I've got many Waterman's but I didn't know this one.  I've never seen it before.

Now I am interested to know which model it is too.

Thank you for your input! I really know nothing about and every bit of info is valuable to me. I checked the cartridge and did not find any info on it. Probably, the original cartridge was replaced with another. It looks like a parker cartridge. I have a spare one. It looks the same.

I am sure you have the wrong cartridges. You must get Waterman CF cartriges that  I attached in early post.

Ok. Is it possible to buy them somewhere? What about the parker cartridge? Are they not compatible?

Parker is not compatible..I am warning that ..search WATERMAN CF CARTRIDGES, I have seen on Ebay, some penshops and converters too.

Original Waterman CF cartridges are no longer in production for a long time.  But I own a Waterman CF fountain pen and found that the short Waterman cartridge, the one used with the Waterman Lady Charlotte fits perfectly well in the CF.

This is a Gentleman 44 gold plated, it's take big double Waterman cartridge, old cartridge or converter (old Waterman converter in steel, bigger than CF converter

The one in black resin with super 6 nib is called Gentleman 21 ; the steel brush is the Gentleman 33 and gold plated is then Gentleman 44

If with Concorde like nib (but bigger then Concorde pen) this is Man 21 or Man 44

A most useful thread. I’d been having problems identifying my pen. Now I have the answer. 
Only three more of the pens a friend inherited from his father to identify for him. (And, because I have lovely friends, this is one of the pens that I will be acquiring. Oh, it has an OM nib that is really nice!)
