Will Sheaffer have a new bottle?

I have one of those Skrip bottles of blue ink that I bought in the 80s, it is still about 1/2 full and I still use some now and then. Cost $1.79.  It has the distinct smell of phenol. I didn't pay much attention to the inks at the time.  I used my Targa fountain pen to write through college and in a journal and only had 2 bottles of ink which have lasted many years.

When my mom passed away in 07, my aunt and I helped my dad move and unfortunately we tossed a couple of those old bottles out with ink still in them. 😢  At the time I figured they might leak and I could buy some more at the store to replace them. Little did I know they were not made anymore. My dad probably bought them in the 70s. My parents were Sheaffer customers. I still have a Snorkel that my dad gave my mom in the 50s.

It would be nice to get a couple of these new ones if they are like the old ones.

Any further info on availability of these new bottles? Atlas Stationers does not have them on their website, and I haven't been able to find them anywhere else.

Another observation: If it says "Made in China" on the box, it may just mean that the box is made in China. It doesn't necessarily mean that the ink is made in China, unless it says so.

I also found some of the new bottles at Goldspot, where they are less expensive. However, they did not have the blue ink. I hope Sheaffer will introduce a blue/black similar to their old Skrip formulation.

I am finding both the new bottles and Skrip bottled ink increasingly difficult to get hold of in the UK. It looks like they are running out of old stock before any of the new ink is properly available.
