What Pen Are You Using Today in 2021/22?

A medium-small black and gold Osmia 773 14 K KM There is no size mark in the little diamond of the semi-flex nib, but I'd guess it's a #2.

(@ Pelikan 140 size.Medium small was very popular in Germany in the late '40-50-60's. Pelikan 140, Ghea 760, Osmia had 4 or 5 medium small pens; Kaweco had it's Dia.)

I'd had it in my pen cup, but the smaller of my two pen holders came free, and it became time to use to empty that pen.

I'm struggling to get down to 7 or less pens inked. Which I have finally reached again.

Could well be a '49 in there is no Faber Castel markings on the pen. '50 Faber Castell was on Osmia pens on the far side from Osmia, 1951, Faber Castell was under Osmia.

Faber Castell which made second tier pens needed a first tier pen, so so had been buying into financially troubled Osmia from 1936.

1938 the Boheler brothers split the company.

Some say right after The War Faber Castel finished buying up Osmia, but it was 1950 when they put their name to the Osmia pens.

Then the bought a Countship (Graf) Pencil Company's ego was so big, they started erasing Osmia from their pens..... with in the next decade, Osmia was erased except for the diamond on the semi-flex nib.

Ball Points won, and Faber Castell stopped making fountain pens in the early? '70's.

Picture found in Ebay local market...it is in a Faber Castell box...which I don't have. Just the pen.

It has nice balance posted....too short un-posted of course.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Lamy 86, with a very smooth medium-ish nib, inked with Noodlers Heart of Darkness.

Very nice and rare pen, beautiful soft nib (I guess it was the biggest nib LAMY produced). Congrats!

I was using this odd Chinese pen today (it stays in my office to save me when I forget to bring a better pen along... has happened...)

I can't quite figure out what it is a copy of :Dlarge.277707762_P1150427-3Baoer.jpg.c09f38c6acf2e4f30ac91f3e1fbbf775.jpg

but I tend not to mind it when these copies turn out far fetched...

It looks like it might be a copy of a Dunhill Sentryman (no longer made)

Montblanc "mini" fountain pen with Corn Poppy Red Montblanc cartridge. So small it needs to post to use. Cap screws onto end of barrel when posted. Medium nib. Wonderful combination of pen and ink. And, of course, I got my finger red when putting in a new cartridge.

Well, since pictures of the pen of the day, uncapped, on a tan Traveller’s Notebook, seem to be in fashion in the thread, here is my workhorse today: a Terracotta Lamy Studio filled with Diamine Ancient Copper.
