Thanks!! Both are great!!! The Faulkner and the Daytona are both favorites!! Today it's a quite different pair (Grand Seiko and Bexley Prometheus)!!!

Wow--I'm starting to sense not one but two wonderful collections in that house! Both of these are aces, and both on their respective shortlists for me, though I've shied away from the Bexley (at least until I can try one in person) on worries that the diameter's a bit much for my taste. I'm saving up my pennies these days, hoping I can find a GS SBGH269 at a reasonable price some time late this year...

Thanks for your appreciation; I don't know if wonderful is he right adjective for either although they definitely are collections. Regarding the Bexley, in the short few days I've owned it, it's really grown on me;  it writes so nicely!!! As far as the GS is concerned it's an SBGA001 which is a spring drive model. I'm active on the Rolex Forum which is my older interest in collecting (but not as old as Guitars). The watches that aren't Rolex don't get enough wear unfortunately. The Autumn looks like a beautiful hibeat watch; good luck in your search!!! Strangely my favorite of my two GSs is my SBGX059 with the 9F quartz movement which has been accurate to 1 second since I got it six months ago.

Glad to hear the Bexley is doing you right--I'll check it out in person the first chance I get. And Grand Seiko has been hitting it out of the park for so long. I had to google the X059--what a beautiful, simple piece. That polar white is lovely, almost looks like porcelain, and I'm digging the old logo. And then guitars as well! I've only got one, a '65 LG-1, as beat up as I feel most days--not much sustain, raspy and raw, but the low end thumps. What's the star of your collection, and what's getting the most lap time these days?

HD-28 is the one I play the most!!! I'm not sure it's the star but it's the acoustic I've got that's best set up for amplification. My playing's been in limbo due to the pandemic unfortunately.

Oh that's a good one--all kinds of rich. Same here re: the pandemic. Good thing my dog still isn't tired of "Angel from Montgomery." Ok, back to thinking about pens...

Just did this "wet needle" grind yesterday -- was going for a somewhat wet needlepoint grind. Happy with it so far, but need to spend a few days with it. j31-2.thumb.jpg.0bf92d5617dd5b7b392c359295fc1ea3.jpg

Wow, that Gold Leaves is a stunner. And that pineapple ink! I googled unsuccessfully for it--what ink is that?
