thanks @ParramattaPaul, was treated well by the onoto folks and the cursive italic grind they did is just right for me.  bought it to inspire me to take steps fixing 2 vintage onoto pens - those damn holding pins, i can see why the modern onoto got rid of them!

Cleaned out my MB 146 B and filled my Caran d’Ache Ecridor with Diamine Blue Velvet.

I have a current Magna with a broad nib.  It is easily a match for any of my Conway Stewarts -- current or vintage.  I'd easily go for another, say the green Magna Classic Pearl, IF I was a greedy old sod.

I am missing my M200s a bit today. I thought I brought one with me when I came over to the US, but I didn't. I miss the lovely steel nibs. Inspired by these two posts, I pulled out an M400 (Blue/Black striped), and it is OK (and pretty), but it might be the most boring of nibs, even among boring Pelikan nibs...

 

So today, I am using that M400 (filled with Iroshizuku Kon-peki), but it will go back in the pen roll tonight.
