"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

Pelikan M120 Iconic Blue with broad nib, filled with Pelikan Edelstein Olivine; Parker UK Duofold Junior (1960s) with soft medium nib, filled with Pelikan 4001 brilliant black; and a pen I haven't used for a while, an Aurora Hastil with broad nib, filled with Parker Quink black.

That last choice is now accompanied by a raised eyebrow, because the bit on the section that is meant to pierce the cartridge didn't do it. Am now wondering whether I am going to need to use Aurora cartridges, or previously used Parker carts. The Aurora converter that fits this pen is very flimsy, and not much of a practical choice.

I'm not sure. I joined some where around 2007- 2008 so it might have been shortly after that.

Looks a nice classic shape.

Crazy I know but a roller ball pen today!  My friends were going through some old boxes and found a Pen they got from a Sting concert in 2010 and remembered that I was a pen guy and wanted me to have it. Crazy thing is, the roller still writes! So today I write non fountain pen. Well maybe not all day...

A strange combination today: a Veritas, A Bexley Owners Club and a Ferrari by Montegrappa.

Nice! Do I also see a Rotring pencil peeking out to the right?

Yes.  An 800 with retractable nib (point) and a red 600 bp.

Heavy, hot humid day today. So, I'm using the Cross Century II - it's fluted plastic grip is ideal for days like today.

It's a Lamy day for me.

(I also have my new M800 Brown Black inked and sitting on the desk, but I usually go for the snap cap/slip cap pens first when at work)

Last night I used my new Stipula Etruria which I filled with Krishna Banana Yellow. I emptied and flushed it when I got home and might try MV Key Lime in it next.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Technically, every day is a Kaküno day as it is the pen attached to the care-log for my Mother. Inked with Yama-guri.
