Do you really? That's great! The F-C is brand new, I'm still getting used to the screw threads at the bottom of the section. It's got more feedback (it's almost squeaky on the page) than any of my other pens, but is still quite smooth. I originally ordered the 45 (by mistake) and am glad I sent it back for the 45L.

Thanks for your kind words about my hand; I figure it's because I have so many pens that need exercising (like dogs?).

I love the 45L - so much that I would definitely get another one in another colour - I wish the diamondcast 45 was an L.

I have a lovely mental picture of you calling your pens into line and exercising them. Complete with inky rewards for good behaviour...

Although I already have 6 pens in rotation and a couple that need washing, I felt the urge to put one "nicer" one in use, ready for the coming week.

I filled up this Visconti Voyager Kaleydo grey swirl, coming from an age in which Visconti really did still make (or had made for them) wonderful gold nibs. The Nib is a 14k F, that is lovely to use.

After reading various posts (recent and older) about oversized Japanese pens, I decided to dig out my Danitrio Mikado, fill up her tank and take her for a spin.  The other pens shown for size comparison are a Pilot Custom Urushi and a Montblanc 149.

I'm using an Esterbrook J, my newly restored pen. My 1st self-restored pen!

I also own this particular Esterbrook.  It is a nice looking classic pen, and a

smooth writer.  I love the silver grey color.

Wow, perfect nib!

@brokenclay, very nice shading with Pelikan 120!

My choice for today is Soviet AR-2-816, soft nib. The ink is Waterman Tendresse Violet.

What have you done with the cat? It looks half dead.

Currently using a Porsche Design P’3135 Solid with a fine nib. Funky pen with a very unique filling system, although getting the ink to flow initially can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

thanks of posting, when was the Bexley FPN made?

I'm not sure. I joined some where around 2007- 2008 so it might have been shortly after that.
