So far today it's been the Pelikan M120 Iconic Blue, M nib, with Pelikan 4001 Violet; and the French Blue Lamy Safari, F nib, still with Lamy Crystal Benetoite.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Pen that is inked is a custom commission by Manoj of Fosfor Pens

I call it Fosfor Custom Evergreen (As it uses the Conway Stewart Blanks)

The pen has roll stop sterling silver band

Today it's a nifty little golden brown Sheaffer Sovereign Lifetime vac-fill from the 1940s. A 14k nib that writes on the thin side of Fine. Diamine Steel Blue.

Currently using four pens: Nakaya Piccolo Cigar, kuro tamenuri, EF; Nakaya Naka-ai, aka-tamenuri, F; Pilot 92, F; and Moonman C2, Pilot #10 PO -- all with Noodler's Black.

I just... love how they all write.

Hi, do you ink them completely or half way? How long does it take you to go through them all? Cheers

This week it's the Waterman Perspective Black CT (F) with deAtramentis Virginia Woolf.

Brings me the mood of writing books with it ... ;)

One life!

Hello. If you are asking me, I ink them all the way. The ink lasts as long as until I decide a pen needs to be cleaned out, because I'm carrying "too many pens." Hahaha.

The eyedroppered Moonman C2? When the level falls below half is when I'll top it up. That pen has been inked...since I put the Pilot PO nib in it, and I don't remember exactly when that was. Up to a year-and-a-half ago, I'd say.

The Nakaya Piccolo (kuro-tamenuri) is the most recent of these four, arriving at the beginning of December last year. I'd finally decided to replace the Piccolo (same finish) that I'd lost in January 2019, after having had it only a couple of years. I don't foresee not keeping this pen inked always.

The Naka-ai and Pilot 92 I only recently inked up--and these are more likely to be de-inked capriciously, but for now, I'm very much enjoying using them.

I rarely write a pen dry; rather, topping up after checking ink levels and finding them less than half. Or "decanting" the ink from the cartridge (or barrel) to a small vial and cleaning the pen and putting it away until the next whim impels me to ink it up again.

@ethernautrix thank you very much for the explanation. I sometimes have 3 or 4 pens inked and I feel ackward having to write with a different one every day 🤣

At present I'm restoring 4 British pens and I already have another 3 inked. This will bring me to a total of 7 pens when I've finished. A new pen has also arrived on my door step this morning, so 8 pens. OMG !!!

Today it`s glossy black Parker Duofold Senior (made in Canada). Provides a little bit of flex, but it`s a great option!

Kaweco Dia 2, Medium Steel nib.  This a great everyday writer for taking notes and writing down ideas.
