OMG -- that Manupropria is GINORMOUS! :o

Next to it the 1911S DOES look really tiny, doesn't it?  And here I was planning to get either the 1911S Wicked Witch or Loch Ness Monster (or maybe even both), with my second round stimulus check (if and when it shows up...).

My husband thinks I should be putting the money down towards a new laptop, but if I get any grief I'll point out that he just dropped $400 on raspberry Pi components.... B)

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Martin Pauli makes absolutely gorgeous urushi pens. I consider his work of urushi pens best outside of Japan. This may very well be a made to order pen for someone who has very large hands or prefers very big pens.

Wooooffff......a dandy self defense weapon, legal everywhere.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Latest Raspberry Pi is so powerful that it can replace an entry level PC or home server with ease, I think. So, it's not wasted money by any means.

OTOH, how many bottles of ink does this little pen need to fill it completely?

> to fill it completely

Martin told me 5-10ml, depending on the boring. Mine is a converter pen, however.

May I ask if you have fun writing with this pen, and why did you buy it? So far I have refrained from a super large pen (anywhere from the Opus 88 Demonstrator to a William Shakour Titan). Or dare I dream of a Namiki Emperor, which I have tried in a store, super nice! They don't fit in my collection whatsoever, yet I find them in a way fun and get tempted from time to time. Perhaps my inner child is calling.

I like emperor-sized pens. I wish I could have an old maki-e emperor.

And I like raden. So, this explains why this pen.

You need to adjust your writing style for this pen. (Actually, I found that I have to adjust my writing style for many of my pens pens be them small or medium or big - so that the output looks pretty.)

Most probably, I will switch the nib for a fude-like nib, my dream is to obtain something like this: https://www.instagram.com/p/CHOZbbUj9bL/ I guess this combination will then behave like a brush pen. I hope, I am not wrong in my assumption.

I have other big ones too: https://www.instagram.com/p/CAUzE52D07T/
