It’s good to hear you’re getting your money back.
This particular pen is a fairly obvious knock-off / fake. In recent times  more convincing reproductions have started to emerge in the market place. Some even with nibs that are not magnetic. For this reason I only buy from trusted and knowledgeable dealers.

@dhanvantariI am disgusted to have read about such cheats. I hope that you will get your money back swiftly. I am also grateful that one could get help in such matters with the knowledge and kindness of so many FPN members here.

Well, there are some good ones on there - it's just a case of asking all the questions before buying.

If in doubt, ask on here, first. Knowledgeable members are always ready to help.

Good luck.

  • 1 month later...

I bought this pen, which was advertised as a Good Vermiel 146 but now I’ve learned is a 144-size brass body 2923. I bought it from a trusted retailer so I know I can send it back because it’s not “as described”... but before I just send it back, I want to see how much a 2923 is worth relative to what I paid ($280 USD). Any idea if that’s a good price?
