Pentooling Brass/Aluminium Vacumatic Filling Units

Has anyone used these in a repair before? I'm interested in doing a "restomod" on a user pen-- that is restoring it using the best, most robust parts possible. They seem intriguing, if not a bit overpriced.

Fillers, OEM or reproduction are not cheap.  His black aluminum thread ones are less than what I charge for an OEM unit.  I'd use the black one because it's closest to the OEM part in appearance.  All  of them have hard rubber pellet cups, which I use when rebuilding the originals.  They're better than the original pellet cups which were made out of celluloid because they won't crack or fall apart.
