For something different here is a bookmark and card made using Diamine Inks (except a little white guache)...

I started laughing as I scrolled through the photos thinking it was a single image on chromatography paper and then it got progressively bigger and bigger with that alien cyclops grinny smile; whoa, it's Alive! 🤣

 

Very very cool, I love the attention to detail with the watercolor effect; could not tell if it is fountain pen ink 👋

Haha thanks 😁 yeah on WC paper the ink behaves like WC paint but doesnt stay fluid nearly as long. So fades etc are a lot trickier. But fun experimenting 👌

Great job. Real nice. Have you fixed the ink somehow to the paper... as Diamine inks are not waterproof. Cyclopes might wash away, if you read a book on the beech or beside the pool

Watercolor painting? ah no, maybe Water Closet  🚽 painting is more like it. 😅 Your washes remind me of Nick Stewart  with that beautiful ephemeral look of color gradation. I definitely enjoy the whimsy of the character as well!

Hopefully you keep the water closet painting off the walls! Thanks and I will look up Nick Stewart. Im a big fan of gradations of colour 😊
