UK source for Pilot Metropolitan?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a UK based pen shop selling Pilot MRs? Especially with the 1mm stub. They seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth in Britain lately, all the options on ebay are shipped from Italy or the US.

I'm pretty sure I saw them at Hamilton Pens recently - or there are lots on Amazon (UK). I don't recall seeing a stub though.

The stub is called CM - calligraphy medium. There are bold and fine versions in some other Pilot pens (or were a few years ago, I'm sure someone can clarify if they're still available and in which pens).

Will work for pens...

The Plumix, although you can usually get them as individual units or three-packs fitted with M nibs (the equivalent of CM nibs on Pilot MR and Prera models) only; at least for Australian consumers that is the case. However, you can get the Pilot Enso Plumix hand lettering set, which come with three pens fitted with (italic) F, M and B nibs respectively.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Haven't been able to find an Enso set in the UK for a long time - annoying as I wanted to get one as a gift for someone. They're nice nibs and easy to swap around.

I much prefer the Prera to the MR, but only because I'm such a sucker for demonstrators.
