Hmm. This one looks interesting. But I may have something similar already (I have a lot of purple and violet inks).

Thanks for the review. And, well, not.... I just spent a pile of money on the Vanness Pens website, including a bunch of samples, so I can wait on this one -- for the moment, anyway....

This not regular 4001 violet? I'm looking at PenChalet's image off Google image, and the inks look the same.

Love it! Great color, well-behaved, beautiful dark green sheen (Rhodia sample). I've had it inked up ever since I got it.

This is a lovely color. Underrated. The ink is also more vibrant in person. I find the sheen to be a little finicky, but excellent when it appears. Well-behaved as well.
