Not a shade of green for me. But thanks for the review.

Is for me.....Cross use to brand Pelikan 4001 inks as Cross (legally) , so that ink could be the unfortunately discontinued green-green shading 4001 Brilliant Green ink that Pelikan discontinued because so many wanted a dull darker green that don't shade.

I do have one full bottle of 4001 Brilliant Green left.........By me in the Green-Green Ink Race....R&K Verdura @ E8.50 finished a nose in front of the now E-19 MB Irish Green, which was a neck in front of Brilliant Green....For then E-4.50...perhaps @ E-5 something now for 4001 inks.

I don't know what Cross Inks cost in I buy Pelikan inks...........up to now I'd not had a reason to buy a Pelikan Ink marked Cross.

(Unfortunately I do have a very nearly full bottle of that duller than mud new 4001 darker green ink.)

Darn...can't give it to the neighbor I hooked into fountain pens....I gave him a spare bottle of that lively green-green R&K Verdura shading ink.............. How can I give him an ink that just lazily lays there doing nothing, like the new 4001 Dull Darker Green.

Noobies have to be lead joyfully down the slippery slope of ink abuse.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.
