What Color Socks Are You Wearing Today?

Today it was actually "low cut" socks (basically footlets, with no leg section -- just LOOKED as if I wasn't wearing socks ). White with grey toes and heels. Highs today were in the mid 70s F, so I didn't need wool socks; but actually more comfortable (and better for your shoes) than going without socks entirely, unless I'm wearing flip flops or sandals).

I know those socks. I bought a few when I visited the US a few years ago. Thickish cotton ?

I use them for walks with sneakers and with golf shoes. Very comfortable, I must say.

Ruth, I'd have bet the ranch that you wore only plum colored socks!

Yeah, I wear mine with sneakers in the summer. I have several different brands, some better and thicker than others. The grey toe and heel ones were made by Hanes. I didn't know they made them in mens sizes.

ETA: I started buying them when I could no longer find cotton blend slouch socks anyplace. Unless I'm camping, I don't want to wear wool socks in the summertime, and most n0n-wool socks these days are cheap nylon ones that don't fit my legs right.

@ crescentfiller -- I don't think I have any socks that color. Just pens. The only way I'd get socks that color is if I knit my own.... And that would presume I could find yarn I liked (and most of those I have knitted have been wool or wool blend.... I do have one pair of linen-blend hand knit socks that are a dark lavender color. I think that's the closest I've got to "plum".

Black. Like most of my socks are black. Today it's warm house socks with anti-slip dots underneath.

Like my ink, I have one color. Ink is blue, socks are black.

Depends on which foot you want to know about.

I haven't inked a Parker in a long time.

I like to keep things simple.  Ink is Pelikan blue, socks are black.  Once I figured out that people didn't really notice what color socks you had on and that black goes with everything,  I quit buying different colors.

...and yes, I always wear shoes and socks.  You don't want to go into my shop in bare feet.

Dark green.  But I'm very a grey blue shirt, a brighter blue sweater, and dark wash jeans

-- so I'm wearing sneakers so the socks don't show as much.
