That is gorgeous. Now, for a matching ink...

 The new Sailor Mouseyo ink! ;) :P

Does anyone have any suggestion for a mix that would yield a shading grey with minimal pink sheen?

I have a few (mainly Diamine and Pilot iroshizuku) grey inks here, but I wouldn't know where to begin.

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Not a mix, but a grey ink with a pinkish sheen is Diamine graphite.

Maybe you should email Sailor and see if they're interested in a challenge... :D

Another one I can think of off the top of my head is Iroshizuku Fuyu-Syogen (it is very drippy, unfortunately, but as a result I ended up with some inadvertent chromatography tests -- and there's a definite pink edge to some of those grey drips...).
