Moonman / Delike, Delike / Moonman?

Have Moonman and Delike merged or something? I keep seeing Delike pens called Moonman and Moonman pens called Delike.

No they were 2 separate brand ; and they still are, the confusion arise cause some of the early Moonman models was OEM manufactured by Delike and their nib unit generally look similar ( but they are different and not interchangeable ) , and of course not help by online retailer who care not to properly describe their items

Well at least its now either Moonman or Delike ; there were time when each and every Chinese fountain pen always labelled a Hero , I would wager even Hero themselves would be most annoyed and baffled by that

Thanks, Mech-for-i. That's what I figured. Delike make a pen called the "New Moon" and vendors call it a Moonman. But recently, there a few of these convertible glass dip pens, some of which are Delike and in Delike boxes, and others come in the Moonman plastic box. A friend even got one with a Moonman nib. I think they are mixing and matching.

Funny thing there, that model actually is neither Delike's nor Moonman's ; its from a independent store brand " 丸物 " and like the other similar independent store brands ( say Ivenue ) they source from multiple industry sources and had their product OEM manufactured and in this case the pen by different batches are manufactured by both Moonman and Delike and use the Delike nib unit and also Delike / Moonman help in the distribution part ( which explain why some believe those are from them ) .. and further to that some of these OEM manufactured models are simply designed by Delike / Moonma and they hold the right to market their own version .. so the Ivenue Marupen ( long sold out ) now reincarnate as Moonman N6 , and this said model ................. well

AFAIK , the said product should be somewhat hitting end of stock cause the store themselves do a period of batch production and that's it but its been being offered as OEM order item so you could ( in its home market ) find them as just unbranded item
