Thanks.  I was guessing the large one was either an M800 or M1000.

~ @inkstainedruth:

I've been urged to add an M1000 to my Pelikans, but the right opportunity never presented itself.

Perhaps someday in the future I'll acquire an M1000.

The M800s are a bit large for me. What enhances them are the IB nibs with a Fritz Schimpf Italic Grind.

That provides a delightful writing experience, both smooth and precise.

The diminutive M300 has an EF nib, such that ink usage is minimal.

It's ideal for use when doing field observation where a bulkier pen might be cumbersome.

Hello together,

long time ago I've shown some of my black pens:

And my green ones:

Actually some where still missing. I've used my vacation to make another quik picture of a part of my flock. Here are my golden brown:

I hope you enjoy them.

My current daily writers.

Please allow the Duofold pens to join the flock. They have a "feather".

How do you like a red ink bottle?

Please visit my website Modern Pelikan Pens for the latest information. It is updating and correcting original articles posted in "Dating Pelikan fountain Pen".

I like the red ink bottle and the "milk crate" pen holder.

@Frank C@Hans01@inkstainedruth, thank you for your warm comments.

By the way, the crate holder is not for milk, but for Japanese sake (清酒)😘.

What a lovely set, and that sake crate pen holder is indeed adorable! Actually found those for sale on ebay and grabbed a few... :D

That's a very nice collection; you have a nice selection of nibs.

@georges zaslavskyGorgeous flock😘!

Just from curiosity, why you have two black 2004 m1000s?

One has a fine nib and the other a medium nib. I like black pens as well

I like how it looks BUT I have decided to never use that pen (unless I get a second one). When I initially got it I inked it with Star Ruby. It turns out that Star Ruby not only got between the o-rings on the piston but also stained it pink and no amount of soaking would get it out of that soft rubber.

This is how it looked like:

I sent it to Pelikan for repair and haven't used the pen since. The pen is pretty but useless if inking it ruins the looks.

There is some hope for your pen. Please check out this thread. People have gotten good results.

I’ll post a photo of my flock soon.

Here is my small flock. From the top Pelikan Twist in candy apple, Pelikano, Pelikan Souverain 8xx (I thought is was an 850 but isn’t that with gold?), Souverain 805, 1954 brown tortoise, and my Pelikan Classics Cafe Creme, Smoky Quartz, Cognac, and Moonstone.

@Frank C thank you. The Pelikano was a free pen back when Fountain Pen Day had better giveaways. The two blue Souverains are gifts from my brother. Oh, and the Smoky Quartz was a gift. I’ve been lucky that way.
