Efnir: Visconti Blue

Visconti Blue gets a lot of love when you look at all the reviews and comments for it. It does have some red sheen. I have it in my Visconti Homo Sapiens, but it has the 1.3mm stub nib. Would a photo of its writing be welcome on an EF nib review?

As far as I'm concerned, all contributions are welcome - there's no such thing as too much knowledge. :)

Oh, yes, there is. Too much knowledge about inks. That can be devastating. Financially speaking.

 OK, I'll buy that, so to speak. But sufficient discipline can offset the negative effect of said knowledge and make it useful again - by limiting purchases to the best, or most-likely-to-please ink. ;)

You're absolutely right. As to me limiting my ink purchases, my wife now has the pants on.

I think this is a really nice shade of blue.

Ooo, and it shades nicely from that nib. That would instantly put this ink in the "only in fat nibs" category for me. :) Thanks for the addition - and the compliment! :D

Here's the line width measurement. The line is one of those used for dry time.  Magnification is 100x.  The grid is 100x100µm.  The scale is 330µm, with eleven divisions of 30µm each.  The line width for this ink is roughly 240µm.
