Z27 did the trick on the 40 year old Safari though I miss the firmness and the snap of the nubbins of a Z28 on a current Safari. Holds more ink and shows ink level now. Excellent. Thanks.

Talking about old/early Lamy Squeeze Converters, anyone has information about this one?

Before Lamy produced its proprietary cartridge/converter design, some early Lamy cartridge/converter fountain pens accepted Montblanc/International-sized cartridges and converters. Does this converter fit a Montblanc/International style cartridge/converter fountain pen, or does it fit a Lamy proprietary fountain pen?

BTW, in a previous post, someone asked about Parker converters and Lamy pens. I would never attempt to install a Parker-style converter or cartridge in a Lamy cartridge/converter fountain pen.  I have inadvertently damaged a feed nipple, in the past, so I think it is risky to do such a thing. Just use the correct converter since they are relatively inexpensive and easily obtainable.

Regards, Robert

No matter where you go, there you are.

Alan you are right, the convertor in question looks like an international one, definitely different from Lamy
