Shiny metal section :(

What are dimensions of that section?

If the nib is anything to go by the thing is going to be rather slim.

Looks like it's a slimmer Studio/Aion. Not slim as CP-1. It's drop shaped, so it'll feel slimmer. Looks like it's using the Aion nib too.

Looks very nice, but I have enough pens for now. Maybe later.

...that also tapers that way towards the end. Double negative for me.

Yes, not crazy about that either aesthetically, but I think it's more comfortable for holding securely that way.

Any information about the new Lamy Ideos? Is a new design?

Let`s see the price, it comes with the new AION nib, is it simply great and better than the safari nibs, I have swapped a safari and a studio nibs for theses and the difference in remarkable.

With these nib and at a good price I will buy one

What 's better about the Aion nib vs. standard Safari/Al-Star nib?

Kinda looks like a fat metallic Parker Vector to me.

I'll reserve judgment until I see one in person, and can assess the size and weight (and of course the price), but first impressions are kinda like Mr. Rene's -- the pen is not overly inspiring....

I can hear the EOOS pitch to Lamy execs, "Teardrop is the new black"

Gosh! it doesn't roll off the table because it's not a cylinder, genius! ;)

If asymmetry starts a new trend maybe we'll see more of this from other brands.

Good job Lamy! While I may not be in the market for one, kudos to you for innovating and trying something new. I'll at least make it to my local pen shop to take a look at it in person.

I to, upon watching the video, had rathered Lamy not to have used the shiney chrome grip.

I like the design, but similar to others, I really dont like shiny metal sections, so will pass on this.
