Hello @Anes,

 

unfortunatley, now, One plus 3 (the one I was using to create my database) crashes everytime I try to export the backup.

with the Samsung S20, the one I got the old message, now it simply doesnt give eny message but it does not anything.

 

sure you find a solution. previous version I could create a backup with the One Plus 3.

 

Tell me if you need mopre info about android version or whatever you need.- for me it is very important the functionality of the backups.

After a quick test, I can make backups from both phones a recover the them ans replace DDBB.

 

It seems it works perfectly.

Any idea what would stop me from being able to upload a modded backup? Added 2 pens, exported... now i select the file and nothing happens.

 

Android btw, Note Ultra 20. Attached the file ... if it loads. At some point I will add more detail.

Android 10. Samsung Note 20 Ultra. No errors listed. I was using the file attached above.

Android 10. Samsung A7 and Redmi Note 7: working fine. Will try to find or emulate Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

 

Can you, please, confirm that you are using last app version (1.8.4)?

Just a short update: version 1.9 is in production for a while. What's new:

 

- ink data: data about ink (Water Resistant, Shimmering, Iron Gall, Pigmented, Fast Drying, Lubricated)
- ink database: more than 1300 inks...
- find ink name by base color or RGB

 

- find ink from image (get dominant image color)

 

 

Of course: if you have any proposal for application development please feel free to drop some text here...

Wow, this sounds like an awesome app! It must have taken quite a bit of work to develop. I love that you can customize the data fields to suit your pen collection. Having the ability to backup and import data to different devices is a great feature, too.
