+1 on the great collection! A question remains: which are the 3 variants you have yet to find?

Usually, I don't care much about demonstrators. (If you have opened and repaired more than 100 of these pens you don't need a demonstrator to know how it works...)

That's funny~

Which three variants? Single-band Light Tortoise, ??, and ??

Congrats on the 100,000 view!

The three variants are:

1. full light tortoise with single cap band

2. demonstrator without capband

3. solid black with green ink window

...the hunt goes on!

Congrats on an amazing collection. I find that focused collections to be more special and meaningful.

I always think I want to take my collection one direction but I inevitably end up changing my mind when I come across something else interesting and as a result my collection has no focus.

Wise words :)

Great mini but significant and important collection Christof. Absolutely agree that keeping the correct pen and nib together is vital to the integrity of the collection (IMHO!)

You're welcome.

I built this mini studio according to the real thing...

I have two cameras:

A Nikon D80 with a 55/2.8 Micro Nikkor which is at the "pen studio" and a Sony DSC-RX100 which is always with me. I know, the Nikon is almost vintage... but I really like the camera and lens and I am not a big fan of huge pictures (resolution) when it's not necessary. (...and I am not a professional photographer!)

This mini studio looks like twice bigger than my whole apartment ;-)

As written here: The picture shows the real Studio, not the mini one...

Instead of a pen I bought a book recently! It's called All about Lamy and does show a nice view on Lamy products of the last 50 years!

Unfortunately, I am not very skilled in Japanese. Not at all to be honest...But the book shows interesting pictures of ephemera and other stuff.

Even, there are pictures of Lamy 200o prototypes. Cool, what?

The book is available in used condition on the internet.

Interesting book, I can't read JPN myself but I do collect artbooks from my favorite artists when they are available.

Artbooks are nice but a good book about pens is almost as good (and sometimes even better) as real pens. There are not many really good pen books out there but they exist. You just have to search. (One of my favourites is the P"51" book.)

Wonderful sketches and pen finds, Christof! Can you tell me how you source good cork for piston seals? I have not had much luck myself from using wine cork...

Thanks for the reply! I need to contact a winery!

True, I've had the good fortune to browse through one of the coffee table books on FPs. It was very educational and loved the vintage ads included too.

Ah! ownership of the Terra/Vanna in paper form!

Sometimes you don'r need to speak the language to understand :) I have a lovely book from a Kyoto Museum - amazing photos.

Yep, but the best thing are the Photographs of Lamy ephemera like this:
