Monteverde Turquoise Pif Review

Here's my first ink review if you can call it that. I thought it would be insightful to provide some contrasts between other similar blue inks. Interesting to see how similar the color is to Waterman Inspired Blue. I think I am going to see if I can make some ink combinations with this ink along with the other blue inks I have, thanks again to Amberleadavis for the very generous pay it forward thread which will spawn a bunch of other ink reviews across the board.]

Uploading scan too, the editor didn't want to let me upload them both at the same time. I have not been able to get the attachment to load even after compressing it to the correct size.

Congratulations on your first review/ comparison :)

Is Monteverde Turquoise the same as Caribbean blue?

Thanks for the review. This is a color I was interested in...wonder how it stacks up against Iroshizuku Ama-Iro...

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I have kon-peki, shin-Kai, and tsuki-yo when it comes to blue iroshizuku inks. I have a couple iroshizuku samples, but alas, ama-iro is not one of them. I am considering getting another iroshizuku but I'm at a crossroads of whether I want to get another blue or a fancier color like either of the greys or yama-budo

This ink will mix well. Great review!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Yeah, I just ordered a bottle of California teal and it is just a tiny bit too green so I might mix it with this turquoise in a 4:1 or 5:1 teal:turquoise ratio.

If you add a very vibrant purple, you will get an amazing bright blue.
