I just ordered 5 new True Writers, all ballpoints, as they aren’t yet offered (if ever they will be) as fountain pens.

Congratulations on the new BP’s. The rewards program is absurd as they forbid using other codes too and over 25 years as I buy a lot more than pens from them the shipping charges have always been a huge obstacle and I’ve avoided it about 98% of the time with thresholds and promotional periods and in the old days going to the warehouse directly. I feel Margaret is going to do a lot of new things there moving forward.

Ha! Not the bargain I thought. Still jealous.

There were many times I, too, ended up removing all items from my cart after I saw the large shipping charges on the next “page."  It seems that, at least with pen products, you get free shipping if you order enough.  Or, that deal may just be periodic.

Yes, the pens have become free and the bottled ink, new things. On other stuff like the Freeleaf pads which I use with the FP's and for work, one 5 pack coud be $9-$10 for shipping plus tax and what they cost which yes are discounted and have specials at most of the time. For somebody not knowing better a 5 pack of legal pads could run $50.

Hard to keep up with their website changes. They extended and still have the free shipping but took away the 25% off so everything now is full list price. Back to waiting again. 😊. They have some excellent customer service personnel but at times you receive inaccurate answers. A few I always dealt with are gone from there. They're unique though and hope they stay around and are successful.

I was weak, and ordered Kyoto 1” discs. They will either go on my Junior Bomber Jacket Circa, or the Letter size Pumpkin Circa.  I did use a 31% off code which covered the tax and shipping.

That's a sign of strength! 😃

I’ll try and look at it that way. I wish they had them in 3/4” size.

Did you get in under the free no minimum shipping?

I just placed a pretty big order and used the 31% off and the shipping was right at $20. That’s about my upper limit for how long it takes stuff to arrive. They said my order shipped yesterday and I’m betting I won’t see it until late next week.

On a similar note, I placed a similar priced order (maybe a bit) more for item from Polo Ralph Lauren. It shipped free by Federal Express today and I’ll get it tomorrow. To me, that is exemplary service.

Also I have said I was gonna try Circa for years and still haven’t pulled the trigger….am I missing something here? Is the paper really good with fountain pens?

When/if Levenger has another buy one, get one on True Writers, I’ll see if pens ship for free like it indicates on the website.

They also have a “Mardi Gras” themed pen that isn’t offered in a fountain pen, but I sure wish it was…..

They have a few I like that aren’t fountain pens. Of the ones that are, I’m interested in the Northen Lights and the Carrara.

I wanted the Northern Lights also, but it was excluded from the coupon apparently so I didn’t get it

The Northern Lights TW quite beautiful! I bought an amazing NL of a different brand elsewhere a few years ago. My Lights are out! 😊

I just received five new True Writer ballpoints that had very recently appeared on the Levenger site — Sherwood Forest, Bordeaux, Azure Gold, Seven Seas, and Killarney.  Now, when I just checked the site, there are five more new models — Ex Libris, Titania, Wood Sprite, Malachite, and Foratura.  Wow, the rapid proliferation of new models!  I also wish they offered each in a fountain pen, but I suppose they can’t sell enough of them.  I made each pen a separate order and used the maximum number of points on each order.  The overall $160 discount I received using all those points is great, and I get more points for what I actually spend.
