Beautiful!

Thanks, Carguy.  The more I look at the nib, the more I think it’s really a Stub, rather than a BB.

I don’t know if I showed this or not. This is a 1927 Parker Doufold, Wet Noodle….needs a new sac and the push button polished up.image.jpeg.56b9d87164268a4f0a4ce4a8b21c6138.jpeg

I don’t think I showed this before. At a live auction, it had a start price of €150, and that is my max for a single pen. I expected it to go higher…but this is Germany and Parker is not as collected as other brands. I had my eye on a different lot of pens….

It didn’t get a bid, so we e-mailed the auction house and got it for the start price.

That ’94 Fire Dance Sonnet is working just fine. Second pen from the right.

This is the pen lot I bid on instead of that Doufold. The big 18k MB nib is display only; no slit, no tipping.

This is something else my wife picked up dirt cheap at an estate sale. The Pelikan 200 was in the Parker pen & ink box. After weeks of replenishing the J P flush, the ink window of the Pelikan 200 is still tinged red.

But that is a half a bottle of Penmann Ruby…more a burgundy in color, that I like.

I’d rather it had been Emerald, but it’s great as it is.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

Beautiful New Duofold there.  Does the “7” mean 1947 or 1957?

Thank you. Apart from having been inked the pen is as clean as a whistle.

The year is 1957.

That's handy - you could both save yourself the personalization cost and avoid incurring the wrath of those who dislike engravings on pens if you should decide to move a MID pen on in due course....

🤩 Gorgeous! Your pictures are my favorite. The black cap is so distinctive, the whole look gives off formalwear vibes.

So here’s better photos of the orange tassie flighter 45. I definitely think it’s an aftermarket add on, as the construction of the tassie is different, and the piece looks very different- more solid than extruded. Stewart had several pens from Kullock and friends (Maurizio (sp) and others) available for sale around September, so I think it’s part of that group of pens. In the picture is an Argentine Insignia and a US plastic barreled 45 for comparison.

Here are the ends pictured, the orange has an outie while the others have a more dish like end.

Here’s a side view, where the difference in shape is obvious.

I really like it, and know what I may try if I run into any 45s with broken tassies. I wonder if there are orange sections available?

Thanks for letting me try your accountant Parker!

It's a common MEDIUM

That is a good nib for this model.

I have found F nib on my P100 being too dry...
