I just recently managed to aquire a Victory MkI and a MkIII. I already had a IV and V so now looking for a II to complete the set, in no hurry however.

@Claes Lovely example but too rich for my blood (I'm a bottom feeder i.e. cheap). Overspent this month already.

What is the colour of the section and trim?..

It’s the common stainless steel one, black nib section, little and clear black Parker logo on the clip.  The nib isn’t stamped, but I read that sometimes they weren’t.  It seems like a nice sturdy pen, will probably be great for work when I get it working.

1970s is "vintage"?  Ouch....

But then, a couple of days ago I was having a conversation with someone and we were sort of comparing notes about what concerts we had been to in our lives, after I told her that my husband had found the "updated" version of "Alice's Restaurant" online (which involves him going to Jimmy Carter's Presidential inauguration).  She hadn't heard the video (I think my husband found it on YouTube), but saw him and Pete Seeger perform at a concert at Wolf Trap in Virginia and got to see Arlo Guthrie perform it *live*! :o  And of course she probably was like me and old enough to remember Beatlemania -- when it was HAPPENING....

Yes (((deep sigh))) 1970s is vintage. It’s ok, I was there too. Well under the age of 20, but old enough to remember it all very well.  Time sure does fly, no?

I’m vintage now! I barely remember the ‘70s, it all has a fuzzy quality to it, similar to the colors of photos from the era.

A British Burgundy 51 in Medium. The nib on this pen is well tuned and smooth in comparison to other 51s I own.

Ooh, is that a "British Bloody Burgundy"?  I'm so jealous!

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Sadly not Ruth, it's a US Burgundy but with what I think is an English nib after disassembling it for some cleaning. It lays down a thicker line than I would normally use, but it's a very smooth writer.

About a week ago, the latest Parker acquisitions were a couple of dark blue Vectors, both with medium nibs, both UK production, and both with the date code "L.II".  Borrowed a couple of twist converters off other Vectors until I can order some more, and got them flushed out earlier in the week.

One is currently inked up with Noodler's Grinch Garnet (because it happened to be out on the shelf).  Haven't decided what to ink the other one up with yet (I really need to get some pens flushed out before the "in rotation" stash gets too unwieldy).

Of course, the converters are gonna cost more than I paid for the pens....

Parker Victory, Mark 1, 2nd Quarter 1942, made in England, Nib stamped N. Aluminum button filler. I would call it burgundy but what do I know lol. It writes a nice fine line but set it down and it dries up after a couple of hours. Going to pull it all apart and work on the feed some more. It was inked in Diamine writers blood.

English forest green Parker 51. Have serviced it and it's in very nice condition. Guessing early/mid 60's.

A Parker IM, it has a very nice gunmetal chiselled finish, boxed with grey cloth hardback Parker notebook. New and unused, just £15.

I thought the Parker IM used to look good to me but I found this simply irresistible.

Parker Duofold Deluxe. Not the best colors and the nib needs a bit of repairing but still in good enough shape for a user grade pen.

Hi there, I like this set,  I think the color is pretty good on the lady, alot better than my duofold in this color.
