I too think a Blue Pearl version is on the future wish list!!

Yeah, there are some Vac colors I'm not particularly interested in -- but I have TWO in Azure Blue Pearl -- a 3rd Gen Sub-Debutante and a Speedline filler (!) that I THINK is a Slender which has the the striped finials; for the longest time I didn't realize that they even MADE that color in anything but 3rd Gen models, and then got really lucky at the Ohio Pen Show one year....

My latest addition is (another....) P51. This is an English made teal which I bought primarily for the generous broad nib, although the attractive price was also a factor.

Very nice!  None of my 51s has a B (although the Navy Grey 51 Aero supposedly has a IB nib (I suspect it's more of an IM myself).  And of course the 51 Vacs tend to run the gamut from EF to M.... I think (that "M" is iffy).

Yes @inkstainedruth, sizing with 51s is a bit arbitrary given that I've never seen one marked with a size. I have another one whose nib is either a broad or a factory stub - I can't decide which.

I think the broads were a bit more common in the English made 51s. Many 51s found in Australia originated there, probably due to more favorable import conditions given the relationship between Australia and the "mother country".

The Navy Grey 51 Aero is a UK-production pen.  So that would make sense -- I seem to remember reading elsewhere (in another thread) that the 51s made at the UK facility tended to have broader nibs in general than the Janesville production ones.

I was at an auction last week and picked up 3 vintage brown leather pen cases. I missed out on the Parker Pen clock that was there. I did not want to pay a whole lot

and the bidding for items was messed up. Random items [ unrelated ] for choice that were on small card tables. You did not know who was bidding on what.

The Parker Pen clock was on a table with two beer light signs and other items. I  bid to $75 and let the 1st round go for $85 and there went the clock.

My most recent Parker is a Centennial Prestige Burgundy Chevron (as it was listed -- is "Prestige" part of the model name for these pens?) with a Medium nib. I loaded it with Papier Plume Tutti Frutti, a very pinkish red ink, for no other reason than the fairly wet nib, which would allow the ink to show up legibly on a page. I'm not sure how much I like it, since it is a lacquered metal pen, which I am not usually fond of. But it feels all right in the hand, so I'm trying to give it a fair shot. I do dislike the cap "ring" from this era.

Todays find. Will be shipped tomorrow. A P51 C/C and a P65 / P61 pencil pair. In a Moden Parker wooden box.  Judging by the tapering feathers of the FP clip, I think it may be a Newhaven production.

Pictures are from seller.

Nice find.  Is that a B nib I'm seeing in the photos?  Or even a BB?

Sure looks like a beautiful B nib to me. I don’t know that I’ve ever physically seen a c/c 51. You would think there would be more of them floating around wouldn’t you?
