Nice score you made, Pakman!

I found an azure blue Vaccumatic with a fine flex nib. I haven't inked it yet but it's a beaut. These are the seller's photos.

Vacs with flex nibs are hard to find! Congrats!

Azure Blue Pearl is my favorite Vacumatic color (it's the only color I have more than one of).

That nib is SWEEEET!  All of my Vacs are, I think, have nails for nibs.  That doesn't mean they aren't great writers, of course -- I was just using the Red Shadow Wave this morning.

I ALMOST won this on the Bay yesterday —outbid in the last second.

If the lucky person who won is here, is there any chance you might consider reselling? Would pay more to make it worthwhile.

It has a very damaged nib, but is a 1936, which makes it a very sentimental one for me. Very very heartbroken… Thanks!

Recently ended up getting one real parker(ballpoint) and one fake parker (fountain pen).  Both parker sonnet silver tartans. These copies are getting really hard to spot now other than due to their trolling date codes which makes no sense at all. Parts are interchangeable with the real pen as well. Fountain pen came directly form the source so I know its not genuine. If it wasn't the case I doubt I would be able to tell.

Gold colored pen is an older fake. That one is obvious very poorly executed pattern which is basically just engraved. Pencil did come with a pen as well which is currently getting cleaned.
It had a thick black ink that was basically blocking the entire feed making the pen unusable.

Blue striped Parker Duofold vac filler, with what looks like an F or EF nib.  Not sure of the size/model beyond that because I only bought it about an hour ago.  But it has a Blue Diamond on the clip, and the chevron engraved cap band, so thinking it might be a Senior.  Hard to tell without figuring out what I've done with my loupe, but appears to have the number "2" (with no dots) after the name on the imprint.  So I'm guessing the date code makes it 4th quarter 1942, since it has the plastic plunger.  For $18 US + tax I couldn't resist.

Also, at the same booth in an antiques mall down river from me, a cute little lever filler in a pretty striped brown celluloid (?) that has the word "Treasure" engraved in script on the nib and clip.  That one was $10 + tax....  The "Treasure" pen is about 3-1/2" long, capped -- the size of an Arnold mini-pen (also a lever filler), and I think some other little lever filler pen I have that my notes say MIGHT be a Welsharp.

My first semi-vintage pen (and the first one with a 14K nib) was a Parker 45.  With the right ink in it?  So smooth a  writer that it's like dancing on ice across the page.

Parker 45s are wonderful indeed, @inkstainedruth. I really enjoy the range of colors and nibs. I need to look around the show tomorrow and see if anyone sells nibs and feeds.
