That's no problem... just a normal curiosity; I won't hang myself if you can't track it down. :D

Is the nib marked Titanium?

Yes, it is. That is what attracted me to it in the first place. I'm pretty sure, based on the white color of the metal, that the body is not titanium. However, the nib is marked 'Titanium.'

Found these beauties at the Arkansas Pen show this last weekend. Black Flat Top Senior Duofold and a Emerald green double jewel Vacumatic Major.

That vac is gorgeous!

Just give me the Parker 51s and nobody needs to get hurt.

Those seven pens, you sent me, are still missing. I think the package has been stolen. 😢

recently purchased 2 Parker 51s (one Vac and one Aerometric) - both "work" - the Vac needs a new hood though and the other has nib 'issues' -can 51 nibs be repaired or should I just source a replacement? (1954) - in the group was also a Parker VS -needs a sac - might try that myself but the cap was missing not just the clip and jewel but also the plastic inner cap!! same inner cap as a 51?? anyone know where to source those - or am I stuck getting a whole cap? :(

I have been filling-in gaps in my 1940-2000 timeline recently. Here are some of the newcomers to the collection:

You may try Dale Beebe for the inner cap part and the Vac hoods but the VS also works with a regular 51 cap. The nibs may be a little more difficult, but you can  usually find them on eBay.

Good luck!

lol...stars have aligned!!!

A VS cap came up on ebay for $25 with shipping!!! problem solved!!! Also a parts 51 for about the same with a good nib!!

I think I'll try sack replacement on the VS myself (if I can get the barrel off!) but the vacumatic will go to the parker51 for repair

Drive Tim nuts and send both with the caps reversed…

A IM SE Polar. Current thoughts are it is a worthy replacement for the lady Duofold and writes a whole lot better is nicer and feels mor comfortable in my hand

First time trying a repair on my own. Parker VS seemed easy?? Shockingly with some soaking and borrowing a hair dryer I got it apart!!

I don't have something that measures 64ths!! only MM but I think this is a #16 sac??? Now to order supplies!
