Could someone please post a picture of the female threads of a Platinum celluloid pen.

Do these pens have a brass liner as the Nakayas?

Three more from the collection.

Left to right.

Aizu makie. If this is screen printed it is darn good and far exceeds anything done by Pilot or Sailor.

Neko-chan. Cat makie. Look closely at the side of the cap. Custom design.

Tsuguru makie. Black and red. It's a big boy.

More coming.

I’ve seen the jade described as emerald - or is that a different model?

I chose my user name years ago - I have no links to BBS pens (other than owning one!)

Hi, Folks,

This is another shot of this pen.

This is a Platinum #3776 Cherry Blossom celluloid cartridge / converter fountain pen. This 5 1/2 inch long pen has a sakura (cherry) pink pattern translucent celluloid cap, barrel and nib section with an organic patchwork wrap featuring small squares or cells. Platinum creates the body components from sheet celluloid which is then dried in house. The gold nib is stamped #3776 over the Platinum logo over 14K. The clip and trim are gold plated. The cap band reads Platinum Japan #3776. This model has been available since at least 2017 and retailed for $450. Made with fine, medium and broad nibs and a matching ballpoint pen. Current retail price is $480.
