If this has been asked before, sorry but haven't found any. Could any experts tell me any major penmakers that use 6 screw in Bock nibs? Thanks for any info.

Option for Ranga, and I believe used by the Opus 88 Bela (the Omar uses Jowo I think)

Leonardo Momento Zero, Grande, and Furore model pens now use the screw-in Bock #6 housing. My early-issue Momento Zeros have press-fit nibs and feeds, but it is easy enough to swap out nibs in them.

The new Opus 88 Flow is using a #6 Bock unit. As far as I know, all other Opus 88 pens use Jowo nib units.

As far as I know, Kaweco uses a Bock #6 in the Supra Brass.

By the way, using a Bock #6 nib with a Jowo #6 feed/collar is possible. There will be a narrow gap between the nib and the feed, but this can be solved. The other way around is not possible, because the feed will splay the the tines.

The Bela is also Bock units.

I'm pretty sure Visconti uses Bock #6.

Yes, different nib units (collar/feed) to the standard 250 though. Just checked, a 250 is narrower and doesn't engage the threads. Same for conklin. Bock made, different nib unit.

Ensso italia, karas kustoms, and tactile turn all use standard bock nib units.

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

I know this is a very old thread, but I am trying to use a Bock 250 titanium nib with a Jowo #6 housing and feed and am wondering what the referenced solution is? Thanks!

For reference, here is the size of the gap when I tried the Bock 250 (#6) Titanium nib with Jowo #6 feed and housing (Franklin-Christoph). The gap prevented a workable flow.

Cut a piece from a synthetic sponge with a razor blade or a hobby knife. The tinier the bubbles in the sponge, the better. I use one of these scrub-sponges with an abrasive layer on one side; the sponge part of those has really tiny bubbles. Shape the bit of sponge in a triangular way so it disappears behind the feed. Make it thick enough to stay put, but not so thick as to push up the nib. Press it in there and the pen will write reliably and consistently. The capillary pull of the bit of sponge will ensure this.

If it's going to be a long term relationship gently but firmly encourage the nib to conform to the feed.

Add lightness and simplicate.
