True, but I am trying to avoid going to public places such as the post office which I would need to do as I currently do not buy postage online. Perhaps if this continues for a bit longer I will do so. I have valued my interaction with our local post office personnel who are very nice and have been quite helpful providing very good service and occasionally saving me money by suggesting postal alternatives.

I use the machine at my local branch (nearly all branches now have them) after hours when the lobby is empty. It’s very simple: it weighs and measures, you select the service and key in the address, stick in a credit or debit card, and your postage is printed. Then you affix it and put the package in the chute.

pupil in the sense of student. She was leading one of the most prestigious schools of MA, and she was an outstanding lovely person, too.
