I've read -- and watched a video -- that there are two very different types of SHEAFFER "Award" ballpoint; at a glance I've understood so far:

-- the older version, plastics, takes the classic SHEAFFER BP refills;

-- the newer one, metal, takes CROSS BP refills.

Is it possible to determine which one we have here on picture #1?
