The Lamy Tipo will accept the G2 without modification - making it a great option for an inexpensive EDC rollerball.

I use G2 refills and Signo refills in my Lamy 2000 Rollerball and Lamy Swift pens.  The Lamy 2000 needs a small spring behind the refill.  The Swift works as is, though the part near the tip occasionally needs to be backed off a fraction of a turn for the clicker to catch and then re tightened.

Re an earlier post: "The Sarasa Grand also takes a G-2 refill." I tried the new design 2024 model Sarasa Grand and a Pilot G2 refill does not fit. The Pilot refill has a plastic part that prevents it from going all the way down. I had my hopes...
