Nothing makes me happier than finding an ink that I enjoy as an ink (colour, behaviour) with an evocative name I love!

I am making a transition from Diamine Woodland Green to Jet Black. I find that ink preference changes with age.

How "green" is Woodland Green?

Does it have any visible shades of blue?

My favorite green is Diamine Sherwood Green, which is very dark.

But now I want to try a bit lighter green but without any "bluish" tones.

All the best is only beginning now...

Delamere Green or Dark Green, both are vibrant Diamine greens with no blue that I can see.

Thank you, Mike :)

I will try them, too.

From the original Inkvent, Elf and Mistletoe don't have blue to my eye and are not as dark as many of my other greens.  They're available bottled now.

Diamine Registrars: old school IG that is a shading monster. Performs well on crappy paper, dries almost instantly and is waterproof. Underrated, possibly because of all the FUD around iron galls. Watching the colour change as you work down the page is a lovely bonus!

Yes, Diamine Registrars is a fantastic ink. A noble timeless classic.

Great in vintage eyedroppers or Swan pens, flex or not.

Eef nibs hold their fine lines as it is dry enorgh and a strong iron gall ink. 🙂

I like green-black and graphite beside my IG inks...

I really like the look of Diamine Midnight(seen on my laptop). But it isn't water resistant, which keeps me from buying a bottle.

I love Diamine Salamander cos it looks great with my Lamy Safari Savannah. When I saw those together it immediately became my favourite green ink. It was just the shade I had been looking for - olivey and murky but still a definite green.

Will work for pens...

I can not see any blue in this green. I live in an area surrounded by trees and the color reminds me of a deep forrest. I guess that is why they call it Woodland Green.

I bought a bottle of this one!  Interesting that you consider it a dark blue, I think of it as a purple.
