I am very pleased to report Deep Dark Orange in my Sailor 14k ProGear MF nib makes me smile.

Good amount of nuances/shading/tonal variations, good legibility, good legibility, good flow, no crust buildup after 1 week, good praticality. Good.

Hope Diamine makes something like this in their regular line.

Would it be 'wrong' to suggest, instead (or in the same vein) of a 25-day Advent calendar, Diamine could do a 'calendar' ink set for those who, for one reason or another, have (or elect) to do a fourteen-day countdown? Surely as it gets closer to the last day of the fortnight, the ink of the day will make the user feel happier!

If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

I absolutely adore Sargasso Sea and Bilberry.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I like Diamine inks as much as the next person, maybe more. But I can't say they make me happy—not like an It's-It ice cream sandwich or finding money I didn't know I had. Having said that, however, I am most pleased by Sargasso Sea, Sapphire Blue, Red Dragon, Sherwood Green, and Bilberry, but I also like Orange, Chocolate Brown, and Oxblood.

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.

Nice colors and most of the ones I've tried (15 or so) have been reasonably well-behaved.

Yellow is probably the 'happiest' color - nice and bright and doesn't lean orange but terribly impractical, of course. Followed maybe by Wild Strawberry.

The one I'm most happy using has to be 1864; it's been in constant use since I got it. I'm using Dark Forest in my brown marble M200 but I may flush it and go with Maccasar, been awhile since I used that.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I enjoy the rich dark blue of Diamine Denim.

Ancient Copper shades nicely and has that antique look I like using thin lined pens.

For Spring, I'd say that Kelly makes me happy these days. In the Fall, I'd have to go with the ever-popular Ancient Copper.

I never actually thought about the color that made me happiest to look at not necessarily being the same color as the one that makes me happiest to use... Huh :o

I absolutely love my "Diamine - Kong Girls"  ...A Soft purple with sky-blue shimmer and pink sheen.
So very lubricated but not overly wet also...
It's like a heavenly version of "Sailor - Manyo haha" to me...all I could ever ask for.

I don't think they've released it for general sale yet.
I live in the US, but obtained it via a company friend.

Nicely done then! Sure is a pretty ink....

Thank you, it's one of my favorites.
Sadly, because I cannot obtain another bottle until it goes for sale...I fear running out as I simply LOVE using this ink for anything and everything.
It's the only 80ml bottle I'm near 1/4 used.

You sound hopeful. Track record is that Diamine doesn't usually release region-exclusive inks for ‘general sale’, even for the domestic UK market let alone ship them to far flung places such as Australia, Peru or the US, even if the colours prove popular. The Guitar inks are the only exceptions I know of. Jalur Gemilang and Manggis (Malaysian exclusives, although you could argue they are actually PenGallery shop-exclusives), November Rain and Skull & Roses (German exclusives), etc. have been sold for years, but still not available in other markets today. I don't see Lion Rock or Kong Girls being any different.

Then that is bad news...I had hoped to acquire a second and third bottle of this ink.
Perhaps my contact can squirrel further bottles out of the factory.
I'll have to offer to double my usual payment and see what that gathers...

I'm hoping Diamine will do what they've done with a couple of previous inks and release a near-as-dammit version of a couple of these - I'd love to get hold of some Kong Girls, which I think would be the perfect match for a pen I particularly like.

I agree! It's ironic that the one ink that I'm absolutely smitten with...is the one I cannot immediately get more of. It's such an awesome ink too...whether it lays down heavy or light, the shading is just deliciously gorgeous.
