Just this afternoon I've ordered this combo

SHEAFFER Targa Slim (according to the seller)

... apparently previously owned by an IBM person?

I know, the seller's pictures are suboptimal, but I think, it does look like "23ct Gold plated, fluted, slim model", and hence I guess it's a "1005s" (http://www.sheaffertarga.com/fountainpenlist.htm).

Can someone who perhaps is in possession of that pen confirm, please?

Thank you :)

Yes it is 1005S. I'm not sure all of it was a set as the logo was on the top of one and the logos taken off of the clips on the other two. They should be completely slotted without the two little holes in the clip as those were only used for logo pens. The letter opener doesn't seem to match but, I've seldom seen letter openers in modernish sets so it may be right.

Dear Roger,

thank you very much. That's intriguing, I wasn't sure what the alternate clip may have meant, now I have your expert assessment. Anyways, I didn't buy them as collectibles, I hope they're good users :)

BTW: The seller told me the letter opener is just an addition, it's not a SHEAFFER item.

UPDATE:

Pens did arrive. My first impression: my purchase was a bargain.

In fact, although the FP hasn't been used for years (or at all?), after some minutes of flushing I filled it with LAMY royal blue ink, and I'm absolutely pleased how nice it writes --- all of a sudden, the good old boring royal blue seems to shift to a mysterious midnight blue when it passes through the TARGA :)
