Montblanc 32 Repair?

The Blue Knight

Recommended Posts

I got a Mont blanc 32 in a job lot the piston rod seems to have snapped. I was wondering if there would be a way to repair or someone I could send to be repaired to. Or weather it should be put into the parts bin as it's a relatively inexpensive model (i.e. it isn't worth the repair expenses)?

Despite being a bit fiddly, it's a relatively easy repair*, if you can get a replacement piston rod.

Yes, a pretty basic model, but very good and reliable writers, far too good for the parts bin, imho.

Good luck.

Would a MB 22 be a suitable donor pen?

Don't be afraid to search the repair section of the forum. You will learn many things :)

I think it might, if you only want the rod?

I don't have any of these pens, anymore, so can't confirm. If you already have one, try it and see.

But, if you're thinking of buying one for parts - wait until someone else can confirm that it will fit your pen.

Good luck
