Help Potentially Fake Parker

Hi All,

 

I need alittle help. I believe that a pen I brought on the Bay of E may be fake. It is an older style Parker Urban rollerball pen. I have the fountain and ball pen and wanted to add to the collection. I expressed my concerns to the seller and they basically said he gets from newell and to be careful as its defamatory.

 

Just in case I am wrong, I wanted a 2nd opinion.

 

So the main differences between them are

 

* chisel marks along the top edge of the cap between the silver cap and the pearl lacquer

* The chisel marks are not as defined nor shaped the same.

* The box is smaller than usual and has a weird felt covered plastic tray that does not hold the pen properly.

* The parker name stamped on the silver band on the bottom of the cap is not clearly stamped.

 

 

Now, As I say, I could be completely wrong so if any of you have similar pens would you mind having a look and giving me your opinion.

Does anyone know if Parker offer an authentication service like Montblanc do?
