Last order from Montblanc website that had difficulties to arrive at home due to Covid-19 but the second attempt was finally the right:

49756613988_47b9df47f0_c.jpg

So some inks I like to put in stock, the new Purdey Brown Cigar, the new ink Homage to Moctezuma I, 2 new notebooks to complete the collection, StarWalker Exploration grey cartridges for my 147 and the free gift offered by Montblanc these last weeks (mini Trolley case I don't really know what it can be used for) and after discussion with Conciergerie I was able to receive also the mini Bluetooth speaker offered by Montblanc during Christmas last year I wasn't able to have.

Montblanc's number 9 extra-fine nibs of that era were gorgeously responsive. Congratulations for your new pen!

Apparently I thought I had some extra money this week... Top to bottom:

Pencil no. 275

No. 252 in F (writes finer than any EF nib I own or have tried)

No. 144 in EF (ski slope feed, holds ink and writes with no tinkering needed! Only needs to have its cap bands tightened, which I cannot do myself, unfortunately)

Pix no. 172 pencil in green stripe, whose clip is sadly broken off.

Congratulations TimeoDaneos. Frederiksberg is a lovely community and I enjoy shopping at Stellings in downtown Copenhagen when we visit our daughter in Glostrup. I purchased this NOS Boheme last fall at Stellings.

What a nice mini collection! Those are very good pens :-)

Thank you! They will surely find their place among the far too many pens I use regularly at home and at work; the 144 especially is a great alternative to my Pelikan 400's.

Apparently the 275 pencil uses a less common lead size, which I don't own, and I'm quite sad about the broken clip on the green pencil, because otherwise it's one of if not the most exciting pencil I own

Stelling is a very lovely shop on a very lovely square. Would you believe that the majestic medieval church was built in the 1920's? The original church burned down to the ground in 1728, only the tower remains. Even after people started buying their paper and ink at Stelling's, the square was home to the Copenhagen meat market and known in town as "The Belly". I can recommend visiting the Viking art supply store on St. Kongensgade (10 minutes walk from Stelling); they have the complete range of Rohrer&Klingner inks and of course the "national" pencil brand Viking. And is right across from Café Blå Time (Blue Hour), a local favourite.

Oh, I have a pencil like this (in black) which also has a broken clip :-(

But it should be possible to find a replacement one day.

Cheers

Montblanc Special Edition 146 Petit Prince and Planet EF

That's a stunning pen!

I'm still waiting for my Sienna Burgundy 3 pen pouch for my matching set. It seems to have disappeared into the bowels of the local post office for the last three weeks. Even at the best of times, they take package delivery instructions more as a suggestion, so I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best. We are in the middle of a national emergency and a global pandemic, after all.

But I do want my new toy.

I actually bought this pen at the end of last year in an airport duty free shop. I discovered this pen accidentally and just could not resist the price. This is probably the biggest bargain I have ever come across in my entire life.

Very nice pen!

I believe I was watching the auction for this individual pen but did not bid.

Is it as nice as it looks?

You got a great deal then

How is the color? I wasn't sure if this really is a dark green striped pen or rather a silver striped pen. The latter sometimes has turned to a slightly greenish color over the years.

No matter what it is a very handsome pen.

Enjoy it in good health

It is definitely green but not a vibrant green tone. I think it was a good deal. The nib seems very nice.

Thanks Michael!

Last year i spied a fantastic deal on a citrine but feared that my habit of posting would mark it. Reviews seemed rarer than hen's teeth so I hummed and I haaed and then it was gone. Kicked myself ever since.

The balance, feel, design, and look of the Citrine is one of my favorite Montblanc pens. The citrine is an absolutely amazing pen!
