This is really interesting.  Thank you, Tom, for providing this.  I find it fascinating that it was found in a secular setting, which meant that there were others outside of the church that were literate at that time.  Great find!

I finally was able to get a 149 Calligraphy, from Fontoplumo in the Netherlands. I'm looking forward to trying it out while I recover from my hip replacement, which is in two weeks.
