Diamine Earl Grey Too Light?

Got some samples of the two iroshizuku Greys, and I find that even though fuyu syogun is a light color, it is better than earl grey. Likely because it is more lubricated than earl grey, which as many have said, is a dry ink.

Seitz Kreuznach has Slate Grey, which is a warm toned (on the purplish side) dark grey.
