Thank you for the images.

The handwriting sample is especially appreciated.

I like the color.

Thank you for this review, I love the color, delicate and pastel-like. I've been eyeing the russian series inks, especially Tchaikovsky and Pasternak, but I haven't been able to decide. On one hand i do love the color and the permanence, but on the other hand they are kinda expensive, seem to feather left and right, and they're a lot of ink if I end up disliking it. :crybaby:

Thank you so much for including sample writing with Legal Lapis in context with other inks! I've been interested in that ink for a long time, and this writing looks nothing like I expected it to look from other photographs. I'm glad I didn't get a bottle. Dostoevsky and Navajo Turquoise look great!

Thank you for taking the time to post a review! I like the color, but not so much the formulation.

When I bought the Legal Lapis ink, it wasn't for the colour. It was for the purpose of writing cheques (checks for my friends in the U.S.) and signing tax returns..... and legal documents. That was many moons ago. Now with electronic money transfers, there's less of a need for forgery inks. What's ugly in your eyes (regarding ink colour), brings a smile to somebody else. Anyways, glad you like the re-formulated colour for Das-ta-yearv-skee.

Never said it was ugly! Its just that its frequently appearing more saturated blue in other peoples photographs. Yours looks like a blue-teal tinted gray, and thats not what I was after. I have a few inks in that color range.
