Winter Pen And Ink Pif

Winter PIF...

In purple and green, because this time of year is a bit gray.

One bottle of Rötring Ultramarine, about half-used. One bottle of Chesterfield (Now Unobtainium!) Cobalt. These blue inks read purple to me. What is is you kids today call this...blurple?

One Wing Sung fountain pen with clear Pilot-type feed. They look vaguely Pilot Prerarian, and shut with a nice satisfying click. Writes a fine line.

One little memo pad. Probably fountain pen capable.

I would prefer these went to Absolute Beginners. I will leave this open for ten replies or a week, whichever comes first, then I will employ the highly scientific Eeny Meeny Miny Method to choose a recipient.

To CONUS only. Thanks.

Thanks for the giveaway.

I just started getting into FPs in september, and I'm 13 (14 on the 16th), so can't really afford that many pens. I'd love to receive this. GL to everyone else.

Does an 11-year old niece qualify? She currently only has a Parker Vector that I gave her recently. (CONUS)

Indeed she would!

And, oh, the pen comes with converter.

Does a restart count? I lost all my fountain pens and ink when my car was broken into, while moving.

I am the tarot reading, bookworm, whiskey drinking, witchcraft practicing, old fashioned writing, aunt Beasty in my family and I love it. Tarot readings for sale or trade, especially ink as I've lost all of my pen stuff from a bad burglary last year. And I need penpals! Anyone interested, please PM me!

Thanks! I messaged you with my address!

It's in the mail! :)

PS: I may have committed an egregious error. The included pen might be a Jinhao rather than a Wing Sung.

...I get mixed up sometimes..... ;)

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
