Are You Satisfied With The Pelikan M800 Or M805?

~ HoneyCake:

In the past half a year two Pelikan M800 fountain pens came to my writing desk.

The initial attraction was the IB nib with a Fritz Schimpf Italic Grind which was available for both pens.

As I've liked smaller Pelikans, I hesitated to acquire the M800s.

After they arrived, both have performed flawlessly.

Reliable, comfortable to hold, high quality fountain pens.

If possible, write with an M800 to determine whether or not it suits your writing style.

I hope that this thread will be helpful to you.

A modern Pelikan M800 is a great pen with a nail of a nib that is great for rapid note taking. It is a bit large to carry in a shirt pocket.

In my opinion, older M800 pens with softer 14C or PF 18C nibs are way nicer.
