Monteverde Blue Black Ink ; Pilot Plumix with M Italic nib

Drying time: less than around 7 seconds on Rhodia

 

Flow: wet to very wet

 

Shading: not much

 

Lubricated: yes

 

Feathering/bleed: none on Rhodia, even with some flex writing with G nib

 

Waterproof: no

 

Color: black/gray, no discernible blue

 

Bottle: standard inkwell design

 

Notes: advertised with ITF lubrication properties

Hmm... nice review but a disappointing ink (IMO). Their Horizon Blue was/is -- as re a blue -- fantastic.

I find it very odd when a label so blatantly contradicts the content... But thank you for the review, I always appreciate learning something I didn't know.

mhm... if I got a bottle of this I would immediately start some mixing tests with gradually growing amounts of Horizon blue...
